Professor William R. Cluett of the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering has been recognized with a 2020 OCUFA Teaching Award from the Ontario Confederation of University Faculty Associations for exceptional contributions to postsecondary education through teaching and leadership.
“Over the past 25 years Professor Cluett has played a leading role in developing many of the programs that make ˾ֱ Engineering one of the world’s best engineering schools,” said Dean Chris Yip. “On behalf of the Faculty, my warmest congratulations to him on this well-deserved honour.”
Cluett, who has used innovative techniques in his classroom for decades, has also helped reshape the university’s approach to engineering education.
