The University of Toronto has been named one of for the 15^th consecutive year.

The competition, presented by Mediacorp and published in , recognizes Canadian organizations that are creating exceptional workplace diversity and inclusion programs.

Recipients of the 2022 award were reviewed based on the successful implementation of diversity initiatives for employees who identify as equity-deserving groups, including women, Indigenous and racialized persons, as well as those with a lived experience of disability, and 2SLGBTQ+ communities.

��˾��ֱ�� was recognized for its work with the , which consulted ��˾��ֱ�� community members across the three campuses to develop recommendations addressing anti-Black racism and promoting Black inclusion and excellence.

“Recommendations from the Anti-Black Racism Taskforce and Antisemitism Working Group – together with the Calls to Action issued by the ��˾��ֱ�� TRC Steering Committee – offer us critical guidance for making systemic change at the University of Toronto,” said Kelly Hannah-Moffat, vice-president, people strategy, equity and culture.
